Be Thoughtful This Thursday | Letter Writing, Baking & Showing Someone You Care | The Positivity Project

Now we’re making it to the middle of the week, why not take some time for someone else? Though self-care is really important, you might be about ready to treat another person with all the mindfulness you have learned this week thus far. Today I decided to write a letter out my friend. During this isolation period I haven’t been able to see them, but have started communication through letters to remain contact. It’s much more sentimental than a text, and requires more time which makes it more thoughtful. Today, if you have the time, I recommend you reach out to your friends or family through a letter. It will always be much appreciated and to receive a letter makes someone feel happy! I always feel overjoyed when I hear the ring of the letter box. An older person in particular, who is alone at this time, will find great comfort in letter writing.

Here’s the cake I baked for my dad’s birthday this year!

How are you going to show someone you care today? Bake a treat for your family, or writing an email to a friend you haven’t spoken to for some time?

Wherever you are, I hope you’re safe. Please talk to other people (to keep your sanity and their’s) but of course, stay at home!

What Are These Daily Posts For?

Throughout these difficult times, a group of my friends on Instagram decided to form The Positivity Project. Created by Emily, this project aims for people to be more happy even in the most difficult circumstances. To launch this project, I will be posting every single day this week: updating you on the recent prompts and how to complete them. I would like you to head on over to Emily’s blog (and Instagram) because she is the amazing person who create this idea. Let us both know how you’re staying positive in the comments of this post! Or go a step further and tag us in photos on Instagram.
